As if handling these duties was not enough, Roe has also volunteered to lead the welcome to new members. This responsibility, wonderfully handled by our Membership and Caddy Corner guru, Ray Koziol, has been transferred to Rosemary. She'll work with Ray to make sure new members are welcomed via a letter, copies of the latest Caddy Corner and other assorted items. So if you are a new member, expect to be contacted by Rosemary! |
Sometimes,
it is a just a matter of waiting for the right person for the job.
Every so often, an RRR member suffers an illness or an unfortunate death
in the family, and our hearts go out to them. But there was never a
point of contact, someone to relay the news to, so that proper
acknowledgement could be made of behalf of the club.
Well, last year, the RRR had
the pleasure of welcoming a new member, Rosemary
Spicuzza. Its easy to recognize Roe at an RRR event -
she's the outgoing, enthusiastic member with "Roe" on her RRR club jacket
- proudly worn, I might add! (

Ambassador Mandalakis - it has a very elegant ring to it, don't you think? Whether or not Ted aspires to work at the U.N. some day is anybody's guess. For now, Ted has graciously volunteered to be the RRR's Ambassador to the CLC Museum and Research Center. In the early summer of 2005, CLCMRC President, Tim Pawl, asked for a volunteer from each region to to act as Ambassadors - and we thank Ted for his immediate response. In Ted's new role, he will stay in contact with the CLCMRC, providing updates to us regarding needs and offerings of the Museum. Ted will also act as your liaison should you have any items you wish to donate, and as your point of contact should you have any questions regarding Museum services. While the Museum may be located in Michigan, we believe the Ambassador program will make Museum offerings feel more local. And THANKS to Ted for volunteering his time and effort on behalf of the club. Your questions may be directed to Ted at the monthly meetings, by phone (in the region directory), or his e-mail. |
