This is our 1931 Cadillac, 4-door, Town Sedan, Model 31-252.  It is maroon and black, and has a 353 cubic-inch V-8.

We purchased the car in February, 2002, from Virginia.  It was restored in 1985 and was the Antique Auto Club of America's National 1st Place Winner for 1985

When we got it, there were a lot of small mechanical and electrical problems which we have been correcting ourselves.  For example, the car hadn't been greased in 15 years; the oil indicator didn't work, so the previous owner had overfilled the crankcase with 13 quarts of oil which was running and dripping out everywhere; transmission lock keyswitch didn't work; radio didn't work; speedometer was noisy; heat gauge and clock didn't work; steering column light switches bound and lights turned off when turning a corner, etc., etc...

Our '31 is now a reliable, day-night-winter-summer all-weather road car.

We have driven 1,200 miles so far, and recently added an NOS, Tropicair Cadillac heater from a V-12 or V-16 for winter driving.
