As
the wind blows through the leaf less trees – do not abandon hope, warm
breezes and sunny days are close at hand! Mark your calendars, during the
month of March there is cause to celebrate! First, on Sunday March 14th
we commemorate the return of Daylight Savings Time, then on Saturday,
March 20th
we celebrate the return of SPRING. Both events symbolize the
official/unofficial kick off of the 2010 old car season!
Now you know the Raritan River Region has to celebrate, and that’s what we
plan to do! Our celebration will take place at our 2nd annual Dust Off
Breakfast to be held at the Old Country Buffet on March 14th.
Conveniently
positioned in Watchung, on Route 22 West, the Old Country Buffet is
located in the Blue Star Shopping Center and features an all you can eat
breakfast buffet at a price you can afford. In March, there are no
guarantees for good weather (the blizzard of 1888 occurred in March). But
if mother nature does smile on us, we might be able to bring out some old
cars. The parking lot for the Old Country Buffet is HUGE! But, if it
turns out that this will be another dreary winter day, come modern.
Either way we guarantee it won't be dreary inside with all of your Region
friends.
There will be eggs, pancakes, french toast, waffles, bacon, sausage, the
list is virtually limitless. And enough hot coffee to ignite the most
recalcitrant of sleepy heads.
The cost of $6.94 per person covers everything except gratuity. We will
have our own corner, where eating and mingling go hand-in-hand.
Children's prices are 55 cents per year for children 2 to 11 years old.
Bring the kids! Bring the grand kids!
