The February 19, 2009 Meeting - Putting The Names With The Faces...
Text and Pictures by Bernie Cooney

The February meeting of the Raritan River Region, CLC, was held February 19, 2009.  Attendance on one of the coldest nights of the year was good, with twenty members and one guest in attendance.  Although George Washington signed the attendance sheet, no photographic evidence exists.  This is a conundrum which remains unsolved.  All of our monthly meetings are in the cafeteria of Phillips Lighting, located right off Exit 10 of Interstate 287.  This gives us a modern, comfortable private location.

Ray Koziol, who is our newsletter editor and membership secretary, Joe Manna, Events Coordinator and Larry Seymour enjoy a conversation concerning winter restoration projects.  Ray Koziol, Robert Rankin, Rich Nalavany and Joe Manna engage in some banter before the meeting starts.

The power players get ready for the meeting.  Joe Puleo, treasurer and Ralph Messina, Director.

Jay Raskin takes his spot at the head table.  Jay is Assistant director.

Ted Mandalakis is one of the more active members.  He is RRR liaison for the CLC Museum, and is a member of most committees.  Mark Russo and Tony D'Agostino choose their paraphernalia for the meeting.  Tony is one of the RRRs board of directors.

Pat Caruso is temporarily unburied to pose with last year's director, Bob Losco.  This is a pair that will be any three of a kind.  Jeffrey Montgomery is on the 2009 elections committee.  If you would like to nominate yourself or anyone else for our up-coming election, contact Jeff.  Next to Jeff is Nick Medici.  Buried in the back ground is webmeister, Pat Caruso.

Chris Pozarycki, board member is one of the earliest members of our region.  Ron Spata confers with Bob Rankin after the meeting.

"Where are the cookies?" is probably the question at hand.

Car clubs are good for building friendships.  George and Rich illustrate camaraderie. Super-sleuth Bernie Cooney finally finds the cookies.

Pat Caruso regales in a job well done after an arduous meeting. After the meeting, Joe Puleo and Ron Spata enjoy a moment of relaxation before a cold drive home.

The real heroes of the evening, Pepperidge Farm remembers.
