When
you have car-related events in the summer you are bound to have scheduling
conflicts. It's just the way it is. And, unfortunately, Grand
Parents Day '07 was no exception. We're sure the two cars shows in
the area might have contributed to our lighter-than-average attendance.
But, hey, WE weren't at THEIR shows! But for the members that did
take advantage of the hospitality at Spring Meadows Summit, it was a great
afternoon.
 Our
host, and region member,
DARREN MUSO,
invited us to celebrate Grand Parents Day with the residents of Spring
Meadows. With our cars on display, friends and family cast their
votes for their favorite vehicles. And there was plenty of food,
cold drinks, and ice cream to satisfy the biggest appetite. A few
RRR members, pictured below, showed the crowd a few dance moves
that won't soon be forgotten!
Grandparent's Day was one of the first events ever sponsored by the RRR,
five years ago - and it never fails to delight! Many of our
spectators remembered these cars when new - This was our second year at
Spring Meadows - I hope we're invited back! |
